Where in the world is Badorties? - reloaded

hi y'all. Pretty confident I know this but in the spirit of play, I have a first question. Is this pictured area part of a park system managed by a non profit organization with the same name as the park in it?
I second this question

@Stormcat I answered this but it was at the very end of the previous page, just realized wires were crossed:

Yes, the pictured area is part of a park system managed by a non profit organization with the same name as the park in it.

OK, I admit to having been there so here goes: location is Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs Colorado. The original native americans were the Nuu-ciu (Ute). The story behind its name is that two surveyors proclaimed it was the perfect place for a biergarten and called it the Garden of the Gods. The name stuck. The children of Charles Elliot donated the area to be forever available to the public in its pristine state.

great job. that is if needpaper confirms this to be right :)
i had hunch this could maybe be garden of the gods b/c of the strong emphasis on the name, but could not locate the image location when i looked. i also spent a lot of time on street view looking around arches national park. i hope i can travel to these places someday soon..

CORRECT! Nice job, Redstorm.

I visited Garden of the Gods a few times as a kid, it definitely leaves an impression on you. The biggest challenge was finding a street view image that provided helpful visual information without giving up any of the more famous rock formations (Kissing Camels, the Scotsman, Siamese Twins, and -- probably most famously -- Balanced Rock). You guys really zeroed in on the location much faster than I expected, so everyone here gets an A for effort as far as I'm concerned.

Redstorm, would you like to go next in providing a location clue?

sure
