My account has been unable to deploy troops for the last 48 hours. Can't see maps on some games.
 
YEP ! Same here, very frustrating.
 
The site runs fine again now. Thanks for fixing this.
Probably bugs, glitches, and backend cleanups should be given priority over new features :)
 
Okay, it seems like the password, notes, and fivers, are working as expected. If anyone has any suggestion, now is the time.

@sannheten - The issue with the -1 troops is a UI issue. A hard refresh (Ctrl + F5) would clear the problem. I will implement a UI fix, but not for this release. It will be in the next one. If it happens again, just reload the page and it should fix itself.

@matildathehun - Link you got was for the testing site. Unfortunately games on the testing site send out links with the MajorCommand URL, so it's misleading. Where you really wanted to go is here - https://playmaj.com/beta/50866

@bilsi - I know you've been wanted passwords for a long time. Anything you want to add at this stage?
Passwords finally...thank you!!! Nothing else I can think of right now except maybe a "SURRENDER" button?
 
Time to start tourney's again. Private mail me with suggestions. Will be something on Land Rush, probably escalate, unlimited, path.
 
I like the password-protect and surrender ideas, and as a new feature I think “fog of war” might be good, as might a game mode in which one randomizes teams (a related feature would be a way to exclude people with overly low - or high - ratings or bad attendance records) at the beginning, which might help people to get team games going on a larger scale.

As for why the randomize feature would be good I am signed up for 33 team games ATM with only four active (one of them glitched and waiting for a draw by mutual non-moves), with a large percentage of those being many months old and “stacked” - i.e. good players all on one team and nobody else here wanting to face them. And if this were implemented it would be nice to have two randomize functions, one being pure random and the other being a “balanced random” in which ratings were balanced out (i.e. roughly the same net ratings on each side) by an algorithm.

And regarding the frozen game/gameboard not loading bug, xcaliber had this resolved in conjunction with not moving on any game for 24 (or maybe longer as he states 48 above) hours, hopefully that piece of data is useful as a way to diagnose the bug or as a individual fix for people affected by it.
