Great job guys. At first glance it looked very simple but like all ur work, it has its neat twists and turns. thanks for all u do.

This map may as well just be a coin flip. Who ever goes first will win almost all the time.

Personally, I think that a small map works better for 2-player games than a large map, in which the first player gets to go nuts and set up the rest of the game.

small maps with 3 to deploy are the best for 1v1.

I agree with both sides. I just won a 1v1 against ndrm in three turns - I did have ridiculously good luck, but still, that isn't supposed to be happening, is it?

luck will always trump map size or game settings. If your opponents gets great dice and then plays a set of reserves in round three, there's no coming back from that.

In looking at the 1v1 games already played, it looks like player 1 has won 15 games, and player 2 has won 10. I suspect that's similar to most maps. I'd say the 1v1 problem isn't the maps, it's the inherent advantage of getting troops first, attacking first, and (usually) turning in reserves first. There are potential fixes, but that's a discussion for another forum.

Ive to disagree, im proud with my gold in duck&cover and in mini, 24 terts map where the 2nd player has tohe most wins overall the maps :)

Thanks for the new map guys! Who created it?

This was a Shepherd Map.

What a nice surprise!

just a Q, when will the medals be aviable? is this the final version?

Shepherd, thanks for the map of where human life started.:hello:

Not sure when the medals will be available, whenever the next site update is. I don't think anyone has earned one yet, lol.

Medals exists, though I don't know if they've been loaded.

As far as play is concerned, this should be the final version - once we open a map up I don't like to make changes that will affect active games. That said, there could be visual changes or changes to how the regions are named, based on whatever feedback we get. I have some ideas for alternate naming conventions if folks think that "Sippar 1" and Sippar 2" are too clumsy or uninspired.

Ah. I was waiting for them to be upload to the usual shared place, but I guess I can use the images posted in the other forum.

I like it this way, very easy to catch, I alsmo like when player names are on the regions (not suggesting mine), find it cool
we could mesopotamise them, lets say pitmanus for example or pitmankamun

one more Q, do we brianstorm sentences including ing?

restoring ruins, translating stones FE

Only 1 color for green? As a person who like to have the team colors the same as their rectangle in the scroll bar, this is problamatic. (yes i am ocd)

any chance of getting a green mountain atleast?
